James is a physiotherapist working at Portland District Hospital and early career researcher at Australian Catholic University. His research and career interests are in exercise-based interventions and rehabilitation. James is focused on youth and adults with cerebral palsy and his aim is to explore mobility and functional decline across the life span and how this can be mediated with an exercise intervention.
James is currently undertaking a PhD with the Australian Catholic University investigating exercise interventions for adults with complex presentations of Cerebral Palsy. His project aims are to investigate the current evidence and test strategies to implement feasible exercise interventions in novel ways, improving quality of life and participation with a strong focus on consumer involvement.
