The resultant ICF map highlights the significant research attention given to the body function component and specifically topics related to fitness, mobility, and gait compared to any other ICF components or chapters. Despite the volume of research on these topics, the quality of the evidence was low, and the effectiveness of interventions to prevent functional decline or maximise outcomes remains unclear. It is essential to conduct research that broadens our understanding of the experiences of adults with CP.
